Connell of Sheffield are specialists in short productions runs of high quality handmade leather and suede products for a wide variety of market sectors, including the construction industry, the oil industry, engineering, woodworking and farming. Their production team has over 40 years combined experience of designing products to meet a wide variety of customer needs. Working mainly in leather and suede, Connell are also experienced in manufacturing goods made from other materials such as ballistic nylon, canvas, webbing and PVC.
Connell are proud to support British industry by purchasing their leather and suede from British tanneries who are acknowledged experts in their field. They supply Connell with the highest quality raw materials which, in turn, enables Connell to manufacture goods which are durable, strong and reliable. Connell products are made from a variety of leathers ranging from heavy industrial leather to light and flexible orthopaedic salt water resistant leather and are stitched in rot resistant nylon bonded thread for extra durability.
Connell are also very proud to be able to display the ‘Made in Sheffield’ mark. Sheffield is the only city in the UK whose name is protected due to its global reputation for quality and the selling power of its name. ‘Made in Sheffield’ is an internationally recognized symbol of the city’s industrial heritage and ongoing commitment to quality and excellence.
