  4. We will contact you to confirm when the goods are ready to collect*
  5. Visit our store with your order confirmation or quote your order reference number to collect your order and pay for your goods in store (Please pay by card if possible).

    *Please note some items including large machinery is not kept on site, and will not be available to collect same day

Veritas Standard Angle Block Plane P2281 With PM-V11 Blade

Now supplied with PM-V11 ultimate blade!

We now offer a standard block plane in the Veritas® line, based on the same design as our low-angle block plane.

Preferred for general-purpose work, the 20° bed angle plus the 25° bevel angle on the bevel-up blade result in an effective cutting angle of 45°, the same as found in most bench planes. A low-profile lever cap results in a plane that fits the hand well, at only 1/8" higher than its low-angle sibling.

Mechanically, it shares the same features: a combined blade advance and lateral adjust, blade guide screws, an adjustable nosepiece, a 6" x 2" footprint, and a 1/8" thick by 1-5/8" wide  PM-V11 ultimate blade
